Renault Modus Door Handle Part with Cylinder

Renault Modus Door Handle Part with Cylinder

thingiverse

The part of my Renault Modus' door handle that doesn't move has a nasty habit of coming loose and getting lost altogether. Instead of shelling out big bucks for original parts, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design a substitute that can be printed at home. The design is meant for the 3rd and 4th doors, but it should fit the front passenger door on the right side just as well. To print this thing, you'll need a resolution of 0.2mm - anything less will result in a pretty rough surface that needs to be sanded down. To attach the cover to the cylinder part, I used some wood screws lying around the workshop, but you can use whatever type fits into the 3mm hole. Apply your preferred adhesive to secure both parts together and you're good to go. This design was created using Fusion 360: https://a360.co/2znriZW. Feel free to download the CAD files and tweak them as needed if something's not quite right.
