The model was extracted from the Polish army's pack, not designed by me. In 1936, with the start of the Civil War, the Republicans kept the 1st Infantry Light Carries Regiment in Madrid, while the insurgents seized the 2nd Regiment in Zaragoza. The latter was briefly used on the Huesca front but soon became unusable due to poor mechanical condition. The Republicans utilized their "FT" in defending Madrid. These were reinforced in 1937 when Poland sold 16 of its "Renaults" to Uruguay, ending them with Republican forces in Spain.
