My trusty Renault Clio 1.2 from 2000 has left me stranded, with all four front seat levers snapping off at the snap of a twig. It's clear that these levers are woefully under-engineered and prone to shattering, so I set out to create sturdier replacements. My new lever/handle boasts a clever design feature - a hole for an M5 nut and bolt that ensures it stays securely in place. However, I've opted not to use the bolt myself, preferring instead to be able to swiftly remove the handle and reuse it on another seat when needed.
