I Made This To Repair My Old R19 Headlight Switch And Get It Through Our Swedish Yearly Auto Inspection. This Problem Seem To Be A Very Common One With The EU R19 Model's Headlight Switch. The High-Beam (Full Beam) Can't Be Toggled On/Off With The Switch Arm/Crutch . You Have To Order A Complete Assy From Renault, But It Will Cost Around $250 As New, Or You'll Most Likely Replace It Again If You Buy Used One. I Replaced It 2 Times Before With Used Spares, And Each Time I Got The Exact Same Problem/Breaking Point. I Printed My Final Version In ABS. However, I Had To Replace The Spring That Pushed On The Lever With A Stronger One Because It Broke Away. Then, I Adjusted And Cut It To The Right Length/Strength So The Correct Lock/Release Mechanics Worked. I Made This Thicker Than The Original, But That's Not Bad Since It Won't Break Easily. The Best Thing Would Be To Print In Nylon Since It's More Durable, But I Was Rushed, So I Printed A First Version In PLA. Later On, I Switched To ABS For Greater Durability. Unfortunately, My Model Isn't Perfect Yet And Requires More Work. Therefore, I'm Uploading This As A Starting Point For Anyone Who Wants To Create Their Own Headlight Switch From Scratch Or Is Willing To Make Some Adjustments After Printing.
