Objet : Device for assisting the removal of parts from their support Application presented : Aid in removing 3D printed parts from FFF printer The proposed tool is an alternative solution to using a scraper or traditional spade to remove parts, with the aim of avoiding risks of cuts for the user and attachment to the plate. It consists of a spatula-shaped tool allowing for easy removal of parts from their support. One of the characteristics of this device is that it can use commercial pieces, a stud, hard strip or screwdriver (Ø 3.5 to 5) to attach the part and use it as a lever without risking damage to the plate. The tool also features a V-shaped recess in the central area for the passage and tightening of the screwdriver and two flat areas for the passage and tightening of a stud (or equivalent hard strip), as well as a non-aggressive support zone on the plate. It behaves like a clamp that allows for clamping the screwdriver or stud. Insertion is favored by a lever that allows opening the clamp to insert the tool, the tightening of the tool can be increased by adding a sheet metal screw, plastic (or metric with a pre-drilled hole) The bottom of the tool features a non-aggressive support zone on the plate. The device functions as a lever so that an impact at its end generates a force that facilitates detachment of the part from its support. The tools used can be quickly inserted and removed from the device to resume their dedicated uses.
