Removable Vacuum Robot Ramp

Removable Vacuum Robot Ramp

I faced the challenge that my vacuum robot would drive into a room, but would not be able to get out of that room afterwards again. All available printing designs had the issue to be either not sturdy enough to step on, or they would simply not fit tightly into my doors. Therefore I designed this very sturdy ramp (printed with 100% infill). I then faced the next challenge. Closing the door was impossible as the ramp was in the way of the door. Thus I designed a permanent geometry to have such a slim profile that opening and closing the door is possible. It is fixed to the wooden floor by some tesa power strips (I live in a rental appartment, so no permanent changes is a precondition). The ramp itself can be easily set in place or be removed within seconds to either enter vakuum mode or door is closable mode. :) Printed in PCTG, 100% infill. Designed to not need any supports. I have attached the 3d as well so that you can make the ramp fit your door. The whole 3d model is parameterized therefore you can adapt the model easily via the change parameter option. Please enjoy and use at own risk. :) Cheers OttoVonSaurkraut
