Removable Spool Holder for 2020 Misumi Aluminum Extrusion

UPDATE 11/29/16: I've been using this awesome Ultimaker 2 printer for nearly a year now, and it's held up amazing! Since building Jasonatepaint's incredible Aluminum Extrusion version just a few months back, I've used an Irwin quick-grip clamp on my desk as a makeshift spool holder. It wasn't the most elegant solution. After getting fed up with this messy arrangement, I headed to Thingiverse and began searching for some clever 2020 extrusion spool holders. However, I was keenly aware of the fact that one of the key things I love about my printer is its exceptional portability and compact nature, which wouldn't allow an 80mm long cylinder to be bolted onto the back - especially since it wouldn't be easy to remove when transporting it. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design a spool holder of my very own, opting instead for a non-boltable and easily removable design that relied on gravity. The result is an incredibly strong yet simple to use spool holder that should work with almost any 2020 extrusion imaginable. This brilliant device can accommodate rolls with at least a 30mm inner spool diameter and a maximum width of approximately 78mm. The small, mushroom-shaped lock piece ensures the spool stays in place, easily dropping into the main shaft of the spool holder. For those looking to contribute to this design or suggest some alterations, I've included both .ipt and .stl files for easy modification. Infill Percentage: 20% Important Print Notes: 1: When printing this design, be sure to use a reasonable infill percentage (I opted for 25%, and it held up admirably). 2: Most importantly, print the part laid on its side as shown in the second image. This ensures that the structure's greatest strength will face directly towards any incoming forces (like the weight of your spool).
