This Clamp Was Designed with Medical Professionals to Help in Orotraqueal Intubation of COVID19 Patients and Other ICU Patients, Protecting Them from Infection. It Offers the Ability to Use and Remove It at Any Time Without Disrupting Equipment Already Being Used. This Feature Ensures the Clamp Never Becomes an Additional Weight on the Tube While Remaining Practical and Versatile. The Clamp Has 2 Parts That Allow for This Functionality. It Was Tested in 7mm and 8mm Internal Diameter Tubes in Running Water, Sealing the Passage Completely in the Former and Almost Completly in the Latter (Above 95%), as Seen in the Video. The Same Video Shows How to Apply the Clamp. The Clamp Was Printed in High Resolution Settings (0.12mm per Layer) and 100% Infill for Safety Reasons, but It Can Be Printed in Much Lower Resolutions and Lower Infill, Which Will Be Tested Later. The Clamp Was Designed to Help Medical Professionals During Intubation, Protecting Their Health While Being the Most Practical Possible. Commercial Alternatives Are Not Optimized for This Process, and Some Are Not Removable. This Clamp Has Not Been Tested in a Clinical Context and Was Developed as an Extra Aid If Needed.
