Remote Controlable Light Sculpture
thingiverse

I added a remote control function to the original Light Sculpture.

Replaced the microcontroller from Qduino Mini to ESP8266, and used esp8266-fastled-webserver to change the glow of the sculpture from the web app.

There was one problem with replacing the microcontroller. The Qduino Mini can output 5V, but the ESP8266 can only output 3.3V. Since the Neopixel Matrix recommends 5V input, it is not very stable as it is. I have solved this problem by inserting a level converter module.

I also kept the original function of dimming the light with a button on the chassis so that the light can be enjoyed in an offline environment. Power supply is supported both from USB and AC adapter.
