Remote Control Car
sketchfab
This model was originally built for use on Microsoft's HoloLens as part of an internal project, leveraging the device's mixed reality collision detection capabilities to allow users to drive a virtual car around their office space. One significant challenge in developing this model was the fact that the HoloLens relies on additive rendering, which means it struggles to render dark pixels, making it essential to create a highly visible and bright design for optimal visibility within a room-lit environment. The in-engine car features were rigging using Unity's Car Rig, complete with working suspension and front steering capabilities, as well as a flexible aerial that responds dynamically to directional momentum. The creation process involved the use of several key software tools: * 3ds Max 2016 * Photoshop * Quixel Suite 2.0 * Unity
