REMIXED -> Nintendo Switch Question Box Cartridge Holder - sliding lid
thingiverse
I've Re-Designed The Lid from Scratch on March 30, 2020: I completely overhauled the design of the lid to eliminate any need for sanding after printing. This new version fits perfectly onto the box. I'm also attaching the original STL file for the box (not my own design). Here are four new lids I've designed: 1. A plain lid 2. A relief question mark lid, which adds a touch of elegance to the Nintendo Switch Question Box Cartridge Holder 3. An under-relief question mark lid, providing a subtle yet noticeable design element 4. An arrow under relief lid, adding an extra layer of visual interest I've also posted the plain lid design file for Design Spark Mechanical. Which one do you like best? This is where I placed the question mark on the Nintendo Switch Question Box Cartridge Holder - sliding lid. Without it, the design looks incomplete. That's why I decided to create them. I'm including the source files (Design Spark Mechanical) so you can work with the designs. The lid did require some sanding to get it just right for a smooth slide. After that, it works flawlessly. It took me 9 hours and 38 minutes to complete the box. The lid alone took 45 minutes, while all four question marks with dots (done in one session) took 48 minutes.
