Thanks go to conanh for his fantastic "pea-less" two-tone design!! \nI replicated a couple of his original models and they were fantastic, but I realized that the tones weren't distinctly different. Observing YouTube tutorials on whistle building from wood craftsmen showed me that changing the size of the output hole significantly affects the tone, with bigger holes producing deeper sounds. (To be fair, they also increased the chamber volume; it appears several factors influence the sound quality.) \nI tweaked conanh's design by maintaining identical chambers and adjusting Chamber 1 to have a smaller output hole while positioning the wedge forward to accommodate the change. The result has two tones with noticeable differences, creating an impressive auditory experience when played together. And, as if this wasn't exciting enough, this contraption is surprisingly loud! \n\n \n Instructions for Users \nI printed this item with .2mm layer thickness, a 50% fill rate, two vertical shells, and three layers of horizontal structure both at the top and bottom; the device works beautifully. Upon testing with a higher layer height (.3mm), it wasn't as effective (I speculate that precise printing is crucial for maintaining an air-tight whistle).
