The remake is engineered to backlight a litho printed as an arc with a 45-degree angle and 5mm frame width and height. The crossbars holding the litho are somewhat makeshift, as I lack both the time and expertise to achieve precise alignment, but they function adequately for my needs. They might support the lithophane independently or you may choose to secure it in place with adhesive. To facilitate a smoother integration of an alternate lithophane holder with matching backlighting, I've separated the two components: the Box containing the remake of the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3904554 (wesley1988) design and the Crossbars securing the lithophane in place. To accommodate the LED fitting mechanism, I've determined the following horizontal expansion values that may or may not be suitable for your application: Key = +0.2mm Plug = 0 Holder = -0.2mm Press = -0.3mm
