I used the CR10 adapter to create an adapter plate that allows me to mount a stock or micro Swiss hotend on my Sainsmart Coreception 300 or Elf Corexy printer. To make the process easier, I opened up the bottom tray of my printer, giving myself better access to the wire window on the gantry. I also added another 4010 fan shroud, which moved the fans slightly forward. However, I'm still not entirely satisfied with the performance of these fan shrouds. Additionally, I created a thick version of the adapter plate for E3D mounting, but I haven't had a chance to test it out yet.
