I wanted to upgrade my Diamond Hotend printer to belt driven extruders but couldn't find one compatible with the Amazon.com hardware I purchased. The simple idler design on the Cyborg Geared Bowden Extruder, Thingiverse thing 1203621, caught my attention so I decided to convert the extruder body for belt and pulley compatibility. So far they work extremely well. All original files are included in this conversion. I made some adjustments to address issues with scaling and errors in the modded STL. A new version has been uploaded for your reference. Here's a list of the hardware I used: BIQU GT2 Synchronous Wheel 60 Teeth, 8mm Bore Aluminum Timing Pulley for 3D Printer, 6mm Width Belt (pack of 2 pieces) DROK 5PCS Aluminum GT2 Timing Belt Pulley, 16 Teeth, Bore 5mm, Width 6mm and Wrench for RepRap 3D Printer Prusa i3 BEMONOC 2GT/GT2 Timing Belt, 200-2GT-6, 100 Teeth Rubber Drive Belt, 200mm Length, 6mm Width in Closed Loop for 3D Printer (10 pieces per pack) Any M8 Hobbed bolt will work with this design.
