Remixed corner clamp
thingiverse
This is a remix of the Flashforge glass bed bracket for a Prusa i3 or clone. UPDATE 2/11/17: added smoothed better looking corner braces. Print Settings Printer: P3Steel (Migbot I3) Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 25% Notes: Printed with ABS. Heat tolerance is a concern, so I wouldn't use any plastic lower than ABS. Brim was used on all parts. Your results may vary. Standoffs were mounted for mine, but springs can be an option. Print four adjuster knobs and two corner braces, as well as the mirrored version of the corner brace. Supports are only required for the corner brackets. How I Designed This I got tired of losing dog clips... I hate dog clips. They're always in the way, especially during large prints. I found these clips and did a remix for my P3Steel (Migbot I3) and Anet A8 using Tinkercad. These are designed for Prusa i3 owners with a 220x220 MK3 heatbed and a 220x220x4mm borosilicate glass plate. The brackets are positioned .5 to 1mm below the glass, preventing hot end collisions. Simply attach them, align the glass with your bed, and tighten carefully. These should work on any bed and glass as long as they're the same size and use countersunk M3 bolts. NOTE: A little filing may be required for P3Steel users due to clearance issues when the bed is moving. Also, check that everything is still tight and the glass isn't loose after heating the bed up to 90c or higher. FYI: I haven't tested the bed temperature beyond 100c, so the reliability of these clamps at higher temps remains unconfirmed.
