Remixed Ciclop scanner with photogrammetry arm
prusaprinters
The original design of the Ciclop scanner was by BQ Educación, a brand of Educación y Robótica, S.L.. The design of the Ciclop was released as open-source which allows the design to be modified and extended as required.A particular requirement that led to this version of the Ciclop scanner is that the camera holder was too large to print on an available 3D printer. Making the camera holder in three parts allowed it to be printed on a printer with a small bed and also allowed different cameras and electronic controllers to be substituted with minimal redesign and fabrication. An additional feature of this scanner is an arm that can hold and position a camera for photogrammetry.Errors and modifications: (april 25th 2022)A quick notice of errors and modifications. Many of the STL files appear to have errors including a couple that were not manifold. This seems to be because my CAD program (Turbocad 19) has a bug. The faulty files have been replaced. The assembly document was originally exported from LibreOffice as a PDF file. This is not uploadable with the .pdf extension by Thingiverse so I included a .docx file which seems to really really suck on Chromebook. For this reason, I have uploaded a file called ScannerAssembly without an extension. You may need to rename this to ScannerAssembly.pdf to read it.The 40mm long screws holding the electronics enclosure together are not countersunk as in the drawing and BoM but cap socket screws - the case to has been modified to fit these screws.
