I couldn't get on with the original even though it's a great design. The threads proved to be too finicky and the mount plate separated easily from the threaded bolt part, likely due to subpar ABS material quality. Nevertheless, I made several key modifications to improve the overall performance. Firstly, I added stabilizer edges to the mount plate for enhanced structural integrity. Then, I created a custom profile thread to facilitate effortless FDM printing at any resolution. Additionally, I made the entire design more robust by implementing these changes. The nut was also tweaked to ensure ease of printing and durability. The files are now compatible with Fusion 360 as well as STEP files, allowing users to make any necessary adjustments. The licensing terms remain unchanged under the GNU GPL v3, adhering to the original creator's specifications.
