I redesigned the top of my mine with a fresh perspective, noticing that printing identical grip pads of the same color didn't make sense. Given that I had to print it with support, it became an enormous undertaking to sand it down and get it to fit perfectly. So, I created a new design for the grip pads using Tinkercad, and literally placed them on top. Although there might be minor issues with the model now, I've successfully printed it and it works fine. Furthermore, I made the holes slightly smaller as I acquired LEDs and led mounts that were too small to fit properly. To accommodate this, I reduced the hole size by about 1 mm. The patchwork looks close enough, even though it has lines in it; once you sand and paint it, they will be completely invisible.
