Remix: Speaker Stand Launch Pad
prusaprinters
I wanted to create an easy to use and set up launch pad for a recent launch. I needed two pads for NSL 2022 at Dalzell, SC. I found wardy89's pad design and felt I could make it better. I wanted right angle rail adaptors to make sure they would allow the rail to go to 90 degrees and rest on the top of the speaker stand. I also wanted to add a 20mm and 1010 rail to the mini and micro rails. This design was near perfect so I adapted it to fit my needs. It has the same design to mount to the speaker stand, but ti adds the 90 degree and additional rails to the already approved design by wards. It continues to be quick and easy to change between rail's or lower a rail to easily load a rocket. I have achieved this by using drop nose pins to secure the rail to the stand, they can be very easily and quickly removed to swap rails or the top pin can be removed to pivot the rail down for loading a rocket. There are rail mounts for 1010. 20mm, MakerBeam and MakerBeam XL The clamp is designed round a light stand with diameter of 35mm (1.5").
