Remix: Prusa MMU2 PTFE Tubes Separator
prusaprinters

I loved the PTFE separator from fucosk. [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3166394] It held 5 tubes simply, was easy to print and looked good. I just wanted different configurations. Attached are variations of 2,3,4 & 6 tubes. (use fucosk's original if you want 5)

I use the 6-tube version right behind my MMU2S. The first five tubes run into the filament buffer - but the 6th position is for a "short cut" tube that I use if I need to quickly print something and don't want to fuss with unloading and loading a buffer slot.

Since I installed vertigo235's "Prusa MMU2 PTFE Holder M10 Passthrough Adapter" [ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3233579 - EVERYONE with an MMU needs this!], I just quick-disconnect the tube for buffer filament 5 and plug in my "short cut" tube.
** Note: rendering makes the 2-tube version look huge. It's the same size (thickness) of all the others.

Print instructions

Category: 3D Printer Accessories Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: I3 MK3S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2mm

Infill: 20%

Filament: ColorFabb NGEN (petg) Prusa Orange
Notes:

Print 2 of whatever size you need.

How I Designed This

Used OpenSCAD to cut and extend fucosk's original file. My goal is turn it into a Customizer version, but for now I just uploaded each of the .stl files.
