I'm thrilled to have a top-mounted spool holder on my Robo 3D R1 + printer, just like I do on my other printer. The wheels that came with the original Top Mount Spool Holder were not up to my standards, so I decided to upgrade. To minimize resistance, I use bearings, which are incredibly effective. For under $9, I purchased these amazing bearings from Amazon. To assemble this fantastic spool holder, print the bracket normally and gather the necessary parts: four 608 bearings, four bearing hubs, eight washers (I've included a cutout version for experimentation), and four screws. Some users have reported success with M3 * 25 screws and nuts, paired with metal washers, but I haven't tried it myself. With these components, you'll have a top-notch, easy-rolling spool holder on your Robo 3D printer in no time. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1mm Infill: 15% Notes: I used a shell thickness of .8 for both horizontal and fill, with a .1mm layer height. The print speed was set at 45mm/s, and the nozzle temperature was maintained at 200C, while the bed temperature remained at 50C.
