A Fresh Take on the OpenAstroTracker by openastrotech I want to emphasize that there's nothing inherently flawed with the original design, but I felt compelled to create a remix based on several reasons. Firstly, I was working with limited resources and didn't have access to 12mm M3 machine screws; instead, I had every other length available. Secondly, I believed the 2GT belt holding mechanism could be improved upon. Thirdly, aesthetics played a role – I aimed to create a design that would be pleasing to my eye, although I acknowledge this is subjective. Lastly, I sought to enhance the robustness of the mount for my Celestron C90 MAK spotting scope.
