I needed away to mount my doorbell camera to an apartment door (that is metal), without putting holes in the door, or putting holes in the frame of the door. This is my attempt and This still needs a little work, but I started by attempting to make the 30 degree mount, more flat - the file is included - It is flat, but the screw holes are not right. I rethought, and decided to go with a magnetic setup. Unfortuntally the magnetic I choice just wasn't quite strong enough to hold the camera if you had to close the door hard. (I still ended up putting stick back tape on this just to supplement the magnetic. I believe if two magnetic could fit in the case this wouldn't be an issue). I used a cheapish Harbor Freight magnet that really strong. When printing, the magnet hole in the print came out a little small. After a little time and effort I was able to get my magnet in without too much problem. honestly I think I like it this way better, it's a tight fit which means it isn't going to be moving around. I filled in the screw holes as they weren't going to be used, but as you can see in the .stl file I missed a little part of them...wasn't a big deal to me, they are on the back side and not seen. I also used my flatten model and made a cover for the magnet - I'm honestly not sure if that is needed or not.... I used some short(ish) self taping screws that were just a little bigger then the holes provided. I put electrical tape over the screw heads. And put the camera on the door - it's been up now for a few days and seems like it's going to work. I hope using sticky back tape isn't going to be an issue if I have to move :-) I thought I would share in case someone else might need something like this. As I said it still could use a little work, but does what I wanted it too.
