Some minor adjustments were made to the front (there are two versions, one with a logo and one without). Additionally, a slot for flat cable(s) was added to the lower side. A brand new back cover has been designed, featuring 4 columns in order to screw the cover and LCD12864 together, deep enough to fit EXP1 and EXP2 connectors. This new design is more solid than the previous version, with no open spaces. The support system has been redesigned to fit on a V-slot rail 20x20 or 20x40. Print Settings Printer: Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: Base and arm: 100%, front and back: 30% Notes: I've printed all items in HIPS (in my opinion, it's better than ABS), but PLA is also a good option. Print all items as seen in the images, except for the front cover, which should be printed face down. Post-Printing Update Feb 17 Due to high tolerance of the original design and poor correspondence of my Chinese LCD12864, I had to apply these modifications after printing the front panel: I lowered the thickness of the inner part of the sides by 0.5mm. I made the coder hole 9.5mm in diameter. I made an inside square nest for the coder, thinning it by 1mm. You may need to modify the length of the 4 columns to suit your needs. Update Feb 18 12:00 am I apologize for uploading the wrong MOD_Back_deep.STL file. I have now uploaded the correct one. I made the back cover walls thinner by 1mm to save filament and printing time. If you're feeling brave, I've uploaded two new STL files, MOD_Front_click and MOD_Arm_click (not printed or tested); my goal is to achieve a more stable and firm positioning of the front panel. Maybe it will work... I uploaded the first picture, sorry for the wrong date. Update Feb 18 05:00 pm The back cover has been finalized. Based on my experience, I recommend double-checking the PCB's holes; I noticed that there aren't two identical PCBs. If there are slight discrepancies, use self-tapping screws to accommodate any misalignments. Last but not least, please forgive me if my English isn't fluent as I would like. Update Feb 20 07:30 am I've uploaded a new MOD_Arm_click_short, which reduces the gap between the base and front by many mm, making it more stable when using the knob. Update Feb 26 09:30 am Finally, I printed the 'click' model, and to my surprise, the parts fit together perfectly! How I Designed This I designed the back cover and applied modifications using Tinkercad, a simple tool that made the process easier than ever.
