Remix of Direct-drive hinged extruder for E3D/J-Head hot-end

A customized version of the ffleureys direct drive extruder, engineered to accommodate 3mm filament and a standard J-Head MK5 V. The latter boasts slightly different mounting dimensions, necessitating the modification. Thus far, testing has been delayed pending receipt of an MK8 gear and bearing. Update: March 8th, 2016 - I've made adjustments to the idler as bearings proved too tight a fit, particularly when printing swiftly and failing to achieve high-quality results. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: Printed with PLA at 210C, it is recommended to print at 20% infill or solid for optimal quality; however, 20% infill may not suffice, suggesting an 80% or solid setting and slower printing speed for the best results.
