Remix of Baroudeur's I3 Mega Quiet power supply cover
thingiverse
I love Barodeur's original design for its sleekness, but it needed an upgrade to accommodate my Anycubic I3 Mega power supply. The cover has to be modified to position the fan opposite the large capacitors, which means a larger opening is required. Their design had a narrow slot that couldn't fit the Scythe SY1012SL12L (1000 RPM) KAZE JYU SLIM 100mm case fan, so I increased the slot size by 4MM and integrated the triangles as corner supports. To complete this project, you'll need the .STL file from me, the Scythe fan, and Barodeur's "blocage.stl" design. The new cover fits snugly onto the power supply, but you'll have to drill two holes to secure the blocage.stl part with M2 or M3 bolts. I used two M2 bolts and nuts, but M3 size will work just as well. One more thing worth noting: the fan has a three-pin connector while my Anycubic I3 Mega power supply only has a two-pin board connector. To resolve this issue, I clipped the yellow wire (RPM) since it's not needed and created a 2-pin Dupont connector to connect the fan. The red wire connects to + and the black wire to -.
