Remix of an Ikea shelf bracket.
thingiverse
I took a standard Ikea shelf bracket and gave it a major overhaul, scaling it up to 205mm X 220mm X 25mm. To get the print just right, I had to position it on my Robo R1 printer's rectangular bed at an angle, printing it sideways. Despite several attempts to push the size even bigger, it wouldn't print correctly, so this was the maximum size that worked smoothly. Using Matter Control version 1.7.5 allowed me to tweak the object's dimensions and position with ease. However, my Robo R1 printer has a major flaw - its bed has dead heat spots, which means one corner often doesn't print properly. To compensate for this issue, I've included another file that prints the bracket upright instead. This design is a game-changer because it allows you to remove the print with much less effort - there's simply less surface area in contact with the bed, and the upright bracket gives you all the leverage you need.
