Remix: MK8 Extruder Upgrade (Flashforge Creator Dual Extruder)
thingiverse
This remixed Flashforge Creator Dual Extruder model addresses issues with the original's 2mm-thick arms, which prevented proper heat sink placement and arm movement. The revised design features thinner arms and reduced spring space for optimal tension force. Other components remain unchanged. Post-assembly, file down pin heads to 2mm shorter. Print with support, using 3 shells and at least 50% infill. For the spring, I recommend cutting one from a MakerBot spring/bearing pack ($8) into two halves for short, small springs. The small dome hex screws from this pack also work well to secure the OEM bearing in place.
