Remix Immortal-T Mount
thingiverse
I printed this to mount my Crossfire Immortal T antenna to my Ummagawd Remix quad. I needed something that would keep the antenna away from the props and out of the way from the carbon to increase its range. This mount replaces the 3mm spacer in the back and is secured in place with the screw that held the 3mm spacer. The Immortal T runs from the receiver slot out the back and the antenna clips into place. It is fairly durable, printed with PLA, and handles light crashes fine, but you might want to print a few spares for harder crashes. They are very easy to replace if one breaks, just undo the screw slide out the broken one, slide in the new one, and clip the antenna back in. The hatch still opens fine and I was still able to use the remix LEDs without the mount blocking them. Also, most of the ziptie slots in the rear are still usable. Enjoy! Update 11/24/2018 After using and abusing the original design in PLA, I got tired of breaking and replacing them after a hard crash. I started designing a similar part that could be printed in TPU to be resilient during impacts. Ummagawd Remix Immortal T TPU.stl is the updated design that will be much better at holding the antenna during flight and bending out of harm's way in the event of a crash. It is the exact same model except for the way the antenna is held. To fit the antenna into the holder, insert one side of the immortal T through one of the holder holes. Then stretch the holder while bending the other side of the immortal T until it is fed through the hole. Guide the holder into the proper place on the antenna and screw the mount to your quad. I left the original file for those who maybe don't have TPU filament and/or don't mind printing spares. It is file Ummagawd Remix Immortal T PLA.stl
