I'm using the spool holder extension designed by Pandariusz and giving it a new twist. All I did was import it into Sketchup to make some minor adjustments. I dislike printing with supports unless absolutely necessary, as they always leave behind an ugly finish. To avoid this problem, I imported this model and tweaked it so that it can now be printed without any supports. Since the small surface area touching the bed requires extra care for adhesion, a BRIM is highly recommended. Apart from that, it functions flawlessly due to the generous amount of tolerance included.
