remix Ender 5 X-Axis belt cover and slient X end stop
thingiverse
I was impressed by D_jespersen's thing, so I printed it for my two Ender 5s and Ender 5 Plus because I was struggling with hot end wires getting into my X axis. Unfortunately, it didn't fit me perfectly since I had a modified X axis silent end stop. Using Tinkercad, I sliced off the left side of the cover and created a custom mount for my x-axis end stop. The change to the cover won't affect its protective capabilities. I also noticed some confusion about how to attach the cover. First, you need to remove the existing cover, then use new M3 x 8mm bolts to secure the motor. (Check out the pictures.) I managed to carefully let the motor hang while I reattached it. Next, add the cover using a M4 x10mm bolt and a t-nut. If you're using an end stop, you'll need additional hardware: two M3 x 8mm bolts for the switch mount, two M3 x 8mm bolts with t-nuts to attach to your X axis.
