Remix Easy-Print Helical Gears Cup with Expandable Round Bases

Update: If you print anything other than PLA, there is a risk of failing in the spirals. To minimize this risk, the cup now features three internal rings to reduce failure rates. I also added a three-way middle cup to allow for the creation of complex systems such as 2x2 configurations. ---------- The original spinning Helical Gears Cup concept was promising, but the expandable base remix had its own set of challenges. The main issue with the original cups was that they were prone to print failure near the top due to excessive movement in the helix spirals, which could cause the print to flex too much during printing. To address this problem, I added an inner ring near the middle, similar to the one at the top. This change significantly improved stability and made it much easier to print without any issues. So far, every print has been successful. All of these cups can be printed without support, making them ideal for a variety of applications. To speed up printing time, consider using 0.3mm layer height, which won't compromise quality but will reduce overall printing time. For optimal results, use 20-50% infill and three walls (1.2mm) to achieve stability that is suitable for most non-load-bearing uses.
