Thanks for the model John (www.thingiverse.com/thing:3596300). It looks like you have a similar older dremel with the 28mm round ring near the cord. My upper bracket will only work with these older style machines, not the 4K and newer stuff. So... I didn't have hardware to bolt down John's original design, so I popped the STL in freecad, converted the mesh into a solid, and remixed it with M8 threads. I tested a range of M8 thread minimum diameters on my Prusa MK3S+. The freecad default M8/1.25p minimum diameter is 6.8mm, but 7.2mm worked best for me. I did not mess with the thread for the dremel collar. Both the original design I printed first and my own printed fine with the collar thread John supplied. For both prints I sliced with a 0.3mm layer height and without supports. This results in a thread that does not look pretty but it worked fine. I misplaced my collar thread cover while making this and realised this experience would not be unique. This prompted me to add a little collar mounting peg on the side of the lower plate. You can see this in one of my pictures. If you print my upper support bracket you will need to print with supports enabled due to the offset faces. In Prusa Slicer I use a slightly sped up version of the 0.3mm Draft profile with these settings changed: Perimeters 3 Solid Layers Top 3 Solid Layers Bottom 3 Detect Bridging yes Infill Density 5.00% Fill Pattern Grid Top Fill Pattern Octagram Spiral Bottom Fill Pattern Octagram Spiral SPEED: Perimeters 100mms External Perimeters 75mms Support Material 100mms I printed these in the ultra cheap PLA branded Creality from AliEx that was like 2kg for $20 shipped.
