Cette pièce permet : - de rigidifier la position du tuyau et de centrer le bloc de chauffe, et ainsi permettre des impressions plus précises car la tête est immobilisée. - d'apporter les flux de refroidissement au plus près de la buse. - d'isoler thermiquement le bloc de chauffe, avec une variation thermique de moins d'un degré au lieu de moins 10 degrés auparavant lors du démarrage des ventilateurs E3D à 100%. (2017-11-06) La version v2 a été faite pour les utilisateurs ayant une buse montée en contact avec le bloc de chauffe. La première version a été conçue avec un jeu de 0,5 mm entre la buse et le bloc de chauffe. La v2 offre plus de sécurité de montage.
