UPDATE!! I've managed to print it all out and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. The 100% version fits perfectly inside the bigger ball. It's a snug fit that makes movement super easy, with no obstacles to overcome. UPDATE!! I've printed the inner cylinder and put my outside version to the test: Don't scale down the inner cylinder - just use the original size with the bigger ball instead. The comments on the original design said the puzzle had too much play and the pin was too small. So I decided to try a test print first, and it showed that 1mm clearance per side was way too loose in the original version. I made some adjustments by scaling up the ball and its diameter to reduce clearance to just 0.5mm total. The second test print turned out with perfectly fine tolerances. I used the 100.6% scaled-up version, but I also added in the 100% version with a bigger ball and the 101% version with an even bigger pall. IMPORTANT NOTE: Only the 100.6% version has been tested for clearance yet! I still need to print out the whole puzzle box - this test print of the outer surface is just a stress test for your printer! It's pretty tough on the movement.
