So, I was building my own version when I came across PM's remix of Shipbrook's model. Interestingly enough, our models were within one-tenth of millimeters for the most part. I prefer my barrel emitters, so I added the threads for compatibility. Also, I drilled out the rest of the barrel pieces for running wires to LEDs or whatever - this will weaken it a little, so use extra-strong glue. I've condensed the 'Barrel Part 2 & 3' into a single piece - no reason for two separate pieces there. Added some buttons you can paint/print in white and drop in place - use supports and a brim. Some work will obviously be needed for proper fit. Added a version of the buttons on a sprue for easier painting. Extended the grip a little - it's gotta have a place for the pinky to go - maybe specific to Rick's gun? Tweaked the hammer to reflect an 'armed' position - as seen in some stills. (And tweaked it again) Shortened the slide a bit, and I'm tweaking the barrel1 piece (really the body piece where the barrel attaches) so the slide rails aren't visible. I think it'd be pretty easy to add a spring mechanism in there to create the snappy slide action. That's a project for another day, or another thingamajig. I haven't printed ALL of these parts yet. I hope I don't get into trouble for this, but I added a close-up from the show to use as a painting guide, as well as to compare differences between the real and fake versions.
