Remington Dog Crate Clip

I bought a Remington dog crate at a garage sale. Unfortunately, some of the clips that hold it together were missing, so I printed my own. Based on my measurements compared to the measurements posted on Walmart's website, I believe I have the "medium" sized crate. I am not sure if these clips are interchangeable between the different sizes, or if they work with other models.

I take no responsibility for any harm that may come to you or your pet through use or misuse of this part.

UPDATE May 2nd, 2020: I have modified this part to look more like the original, and added some fillets so it looks a bit nicer. I've included a photo that shows the original part (top) compared to version 1 (middle - green), and version 2 (bottom - black)

If this design was useful to you, consider a tip or post a make!

Print instructions

Print Settings

Printer Brand: Anycubic
Printer: All-metal Mega
Rafts: Doesn't Matter
Supports: Yes
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: Gyroid 50%
Filament: ABS

This needs to be as strong as possible (if you like your pet). I suggest you leave it in the orientation I've put it in unless you have a good understanding of how orientation of layers affects strength.

I printed it with 6 shells and 50% gyroid infill. Used supports and a brim.

I also suggest you print it in a high temperature material (not PLA) so it doesn't soften or warp in the sun.
