Remake adapted joystick handle
myminifactory
Designers often struggle to create adaptive joystick handles for people with disabilities who need to control a computer's mouse pointer. Creating a custom handle from scratch on a CAD program can be extremely challenging. Remake offers an innovative solution by allowing users to sculpt the handle using modeling clay and then scan it for 3D printing. This design-by-capture technique proves particularly useful for developing intricate designs. The process itself is relatively straightforward: draw a basic interface that fits the joystick, shape some clay into the desired hand profile, scan it, and finally assemble both components before printing. In my case, I opted to print the handle vertically in ABS with supports.
