Reln Rain Drain channel
thingiverse
I didn't want to shell out $80+ for a new drain channel, so I took matters into my own hands. I designed and 3D-printed seven sections to make up the missing ~1500mm of channel. The prototype photo shows how it fits together, giving you a rough idea of how it works. To get it right, I had to install the channel along with the top grate - it was a bit tricky, but once in place and glued down, it held strong. It can easily support a person standing or jumping on the grate, and it seems like it could handle more weight than that. Whether it would hold up under the weight of a car is anyone's guess, but it looks pretty sturdy.
