Reliquary head of Pope Alexandre shines with silver regrowth, intricately chiseled and gilded. This masterpiece rests upon a base made from woodcore, adorned with champleve enamel, flowing brass, and skillful chiseling. Cabochons and silver pearls add to the base's splendor, while feet of sinking brass are expertly gilded. Both hind feet have undergone restoration. This magnificent reliquary originates from Saint-Remade Abbey in Stavelot. Today, it is proudly displayed at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire within the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Belgium. Crafted with precision using ReMake and ReCap Pro from AutoDesk, this reliquary forms a majestic silver head of ancient inspiration, set upon a base shaped like a portable altar. Consecrated by Abbey Wibald on April 13, 1145, this relic boasts the oldest figurative enamels preserved for the Meuse region. The base features seven saints - Alexander, Evence, and Theodule - alongside the personifications of the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
