A magnificent relief showcases a tranquil haven devoted to Dionysus: lush plane-tree foliage, intricately entwined with a vine-shoot, breaks through the walls. In the background, a temple with four stately Ionic columns comes into view. This exquisite relief is a testament to refined craftsmanship from the first century AD and was originally discovered in the Horti Tauriani near the church of S. Vito in 1875.
