Relief with Two Angels, A Shield and Wreath
myminifactory
This section was a part of a larger relief sculpture. Following traditional workshop practices in Lombardy, it's possible that a skilled assistant carved the design created by Amadeo. The shield features a French fleur-de-lis pattern quartered with the serpent symbol of the Visconti family, who ruled Milan during periods when the city was under French control. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory that allows us to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from around the world for anyone to access free of charge.
