Relief with provinces and arm trophy from Hadrian's temple
myminifactory
The Hadrian Temple, located on Rome's Campus Martius in Italy, was constructed by Antoninus Pius in 145 AD to honor his adoptive father and predecessor Hadrian. Today, this ancient temple is seamlessly integrated into a larger structure within the Piazza di Pietra, which got its name from the stones of the original temple that were repurposed for the piazza's construction. It was initially mistakenly identified as the Temple of Neptune.
