myminifactory
This relief portrays the meticulous planning that led up to the murder of King Pelias, whose supposedly miraculous transformation into youth would occur when he was submerged in a massive, three-legged cauldron filled with enchanted herbs. The piece is a Roman replica of an original Attic sculpture from approximately 420 BC.
