Two male figures stand proudly side by side, one a slave, another the majestic head of a horse, while behind them, a tree towers tall, its branches home to a serpent. The name of the artist who crafted this masterpiece is etched into history: "I, Euandros, son of Euandros, from Veroia, proudly declare my creation." This magnificent sculpture was unearthed in the ancient Lete area of Derveni's cemetery, a testament to the artistic prowess of a bygone era.
