Located in Myloi (the ancient city of Lerna) within the Argolid region, a striking artifact has been unearthed. This votive relief or possibly a metope from a small structure vividly depicts one of Herakles' most legendary endeavors - his battle against the formidable Lernaian Hydra. At the center of the scene, Herakles is shown vanquishing the monstrous creature with unrelenting force. In the lower left corner, a crab is prominently displayed, its presence serving as a poignant reminder of its role as the Hydra's cunning accomplice.
