Tlaltecuhtli is an ancient Mesoamerican deity recognized through sculptures and iconography dating back to the Late Postclassic period, spanning from approximately 1200 to 1519 AD. This deity is predominantly associated with Mexica (Aztec) and other Nahuatl-speaking cultures. Tlaltecuhtli's name directly translates to "Earth Lord," but most Aztec depictions clearly portray this creature as a female figure. Despite the male connotation of its name, some sources classify Tlaltecuhtli as a goddess. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tlaltecuhtli
