myminifactory
The Roman deity Mithras first appears in the historical record during the late 1st century A.D., and vanishes from it in the late 4th century A.D. Unlike prominent mythological figures such as Jupiter and Hercules, no ancient source preserves the mythology surrounding this god. All available information is derived from depictions on monuments and limited literary mentions of the cult. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory.
