In ancient Greek mythology, Caerus or Kaerus, known as Kairos in Greek, embodied the essence of opportunity, luck and favorable moments. Characterized by his striking appearance with a single lock of hair, he was often depicted in this manner. His Roman counterpart, Occasio or Tempus, shared similar qualities. Born as the youngest child of Zeus, Caerus embarked on a tumultuous relationship with Fortuna after neglecting to overthrow his father, an action that many believed he would undertake.
